Doug began working sheet metal in Colorado, doing a combination of HVAC and architectural metal. 5 years later, Doug came home to Seattle and started his own shop in 1981. He started with brickwork, wood stove installation, and HVAC, but as the shop grew, architectural metal became a focus. Because of copper's natural beauty, long life, and versatility, architectural copper became his specialty.
